Initial phone consultation:

Prior to our first appointment, I offer a complimentary, 15-minute phone consultation.  During this time, we can briefly discuss your needs, interests, and any concerns or questions you may have in determining whether we are a good match.  I will also ask you some questions to make an initial determination that I have the appropriate experience and resources to meet your needs.

First session:

The first session is a 60-minute consultation session.  This is an opportunity for me to understand better what your concerns are and to begin to formulate a treatment plan.  It is also an chance for you to ask questions of me and for us to decide whether we should move forward in our work together.


Subsequent sessions are approximately 50 minutes long.  I typically meet with clients weekly, as this frequency tends to be optimal with regard to making progress in treatment. 



 Fees for treatment are comparable to other therapists practicing in the San Francisco Bay Area.  A limited number of low-fee spots are held for students or those with financial challenges. Please contact me for additional information. I accept payment via cash, check, and credit card. You will not be charged for a cancelled session if you call 24 hours in advance.
